The Springettsbury Township board of supervisors approved a plan for a 7,000-square-foot Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on Northern Way, near the Applebee's, at Thursday's meeting. Construction is expected to begin in early June.

Since the restaurant is part of the York Marketplace shopping center, the township will waive the sidewalk requirement on the Sam's Club parking lot area. Township zoning officer James Baugh said that there is sidewalk on the opposite side of Northern Way.

According to Kevin Thode of RSP Architects, the restaurant will employ approximately 45 employees, including wait staff, cooks, managers and bartenders.
