A York City resident is accused of robbing a bank Tuesday in Shrewsbury Borough.
The FBI and officers with the Southern Regional and York Area Regional Police departments responded at about 10:45 a.m. to the M&T Bank on East Forrest Avenue, according to a news release.
Officers obtained information that the robber may have been driving a tan Jeep, according to the release.
Troopers identified and stopped a tan Jeep heading north on I-83 between Loganville and Leaders Heights.
Police allege the driver of the vehicle, Saad Adda, is the same person who robbed the bank.
Adda, 45, allegedly confessed to the Shrewsbury robbery and two others in Newberry Township, according to police.
Adda has been arraigned and charged with robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property.
Police said Adda was taken to York County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
