A York City woman has been locked up for having a two-prong domestic argument, according to police — and both prongs were attached to a meat fork.
Rosa M. Ocasio-Baez, 52, of 337 E. King St., Apt. 1, remains in York County Prison on $10,000 bail, charged with counts of aggravated assault for both the domestic incident and for allegedly biting a responding officer, police said.
She was in her home, arguing with Luisa Rivera about 11:30 p.m. Friday, when Ocasio-Baez grabbed a large, two-pronged meat fork and stuck it in Rivera's right forearm, according to charging documents.
She then fled to a neighboring home, police said.
'Belligerent': When responding York City officers tried to arrest Ocasio-Baez at that neighbor's home, she became belligerent and disorderly, charging documents state.
During the struggle, she took a bite out of a crime fighter, police allege.
Officer Jason Jay suffered a bite on his right leg, charging documents allege.
Police subdued Ocasio-Baez, then took her to York Hospital for a physical and mental evaluation, documents state.
The hospital released her about 7:30 a.m. Saturday, at which point police drove her to the county's central booking unit for arraignment.
