Spraying to control adult mosquito populations will be conducted Wednesday evening in Manchester Township, York County's West Nile management program announced Monday.
The spraying will be in the residential and commercial areas in the vicinity of North George Street, from Masonic Drive to Emigsville and east along Woodland View Drive to Grim Lane.
Samples collected by the state Department of Environmental Protection indicate high mosquito populations capable of transmitting West Nile virus in these areas.
Weather conditions and other unexpected events could delay or cancel this spray event. The rain date for this spray event will be Thursday.
