The York-Adams Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, announces its 25th annual Labor Day parade is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 1 in York.
The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from Small's Athletic Field, and continue on a two mile route through downtown York and finish at Kiwanis Lake.
This year's parade theme is "Preserving America's Future." The grand marshal will be York County Commissioner Doug Hoke.
The parade is held annually in cooperation with the City of York and the York City School District. The parade is held in conjunction with a youth fishing derby and other community activities at Kiwanis Lake all day.
