A Maryland man faces burglary and related charges after DNA evidence linked him to a 2005 burglary at an Adams County archery club, state police say.
Donald Anthony Genco, 32, of Baltimore, who also has an address in York County, is slated to be arraigned on burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief charges before District Judge Daniel Bowman on Thursday, according to Genco's court records.
State police say the charges were laid against Genco after his DNA profile matched blood evidence found at the Gettysburg Archery Club, 335 White Run Road in Mount Pleasant Township, just after the burglary nine years ago.
The burglary happened between June 3 and June 6, 2005, police said. Police did not say what was taken.
During a recent interview with police, Genco admitted to the burglary, police said.
Court records do not list an attorney fro Genco.
