Tickets for another act at the York Fair this year will go on sale Saturday, with a performance by pop singing group McClain to appeal to younger fair attendees.

The trio of sisters, formerly known as The McClain Sisters, will perform Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Grandstand.

McClain fits into the pop genre and will likely appeal to teens, said general manager Michael Froehlich.

The sisters are from Atlanta, Ga., and have performed at the White House Easter Egg Roll and the Houston Rodeo. One of the sisters, China Anne McClain, is in Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm" and other shows and films.

To accommodate younger guests, all tickets will be $10 and will include the price of fair admission, Froehlich said. The concert also is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. instead of the later start times of 7;30 or 8 p.m., he said.

Other Grandstand performances this year includes shows featuring Lady Antebellum with Joe Nichols, Hunter Hayes, Jeff Dunham and Jackyl with special guest Molly Hatchet.

None of the shows are sold out yet, Froehlich said, but sales are going well and are expected to pick up the month before the fair begins September 5.

"We're looking forward to well-attended concerts this year at the York Fair," he said.
