The York City Police Department and other organizations will present a free film screening from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in an effort to limit the effects of bullying in the York community.
The police department, along with the The Center for Safe Schools and the Highmark Foundation, will show the documentary "Bully" at the Lincoln Fire Company, with a discussion about the movie to follow the film.
More than 13 million kids will be bullied in the United States this year, making it the most common form of violence experienced by children, according to a release from the organizations.
The film screening aims to continue the conversation about how bullying affects children and families.
Seating is limited, but walk-ins will be admitted as space allows.
The Lincoln Fire Company is located at 800 Roosevelt Avenue in York.
