The York Dispatch and the Republican Club of York are hosting a debate Wednesday between the two GOP primary candidates for the 28th District state Senate seat.
Squaring off will be candidates Zack Hearn of Windsor Township and Sen. Scott Wagner, R-Spring Garden Township, who was elected to temporarily fill the seat left vacant by former Sen. Mike Waugh of Shrewsbury Township.
The debate starts at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live here. The debate, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the York Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hollywood Drive in York Township.
Moderating will be WPMT Fox 43 anchor Bill Toth.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Each candidate will have a 5-minute introduction, followed by five questions with rebuttal opportunities and a closing statement.
The primary election will be held May 20, with Democrat Linda Small appearing on the ballot unopposed.
