PennDOT has postponed changing traffic patterns at the Interstate 83/Route 581 split in Cumberland County.
The traffic shifts and new ramp openings have been rescheduled for late May, until an overhead sign truss can be installed, according to a press release from the state Department of Transportation.
The traffic changes in I-83 include opening a new off-ramp (exit 41B) to Lowther Street in Lemoyne and closing the current Exit 41B, PennDOT said.
The work is part of an ongoing $22.1 million project to improve the interchange. The project is expected to be finished in summer 2015.
PennDOT has created several short videos showing which ramps will be eliminated and other upcoming traffic changes. Find them here.
