Utz has signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens to be the exclusive provider of pretzels, potato chips and tortilla chips at M&T Bank Stadium.

"We're beyond excited," said Chuck Tullis, vice president of corporate brands for Utz. "We've done sponsorships with baseball, but the NFL is the hottest thing out there. Now we're in the big leagues."

The new sponsorship deal will put a lot of the Hanover-based company in Maryland and bring a little bit of Baltimore to local stores.

Not only will Utz products be at all M&T concession stands, the company will also make Ravens-inspired snacks, Tullis said.

The products – which he wouldn't reveal – will hit store shelves in August in time for the football season, he said.

Tullis would not disclose terms of the multi-year deal, which went into effect April 1, and said the partnership is a perfect fit in the local market.

"Their core audience is our market," he said.
