A York City restaurant cannot serve alcohol this week after it was cited for a liquor-law violation.
Sam and Tony's, 243 W. Market St., was cited for serving a minor during an age compliance check conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
The violation resulted in a four-day suspension of the restaurant's liquor license. The suspension began Monday at 7 a.m. and ends Friday at 7 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The restaurant was also ordered to become certified through the board's Responsible Alcohol Management Program.
The owners of Sam and Tony's, who listed the property and liquor license for sale in February, could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
