A Harrisburg man has been charged in the heroin death of a Newberry Township teen.
Denzel Rymay Outen, 20, is charged with drug delivery resulting in a death, criminal use of a communication facility and possession with intent to deliver, according to court records.
Bail was set at $500,000 when he was arraigned before District Judge Scott Gross on Wednesday, the records state.
He is accused of supplying heroin to 19-year-old Julianna Bower, which caused her death, according to a news release from the York County District Attorney's Office.
The Newberry Township woman died March 18 after taking the drug, according to township police.
Prosecutors, along with Chief John Snyder of Newberry Township Police, will hold a press conference at the Newberry Township Police station, 1905 Old Trail Road, at 3 p.m. Friday.
