Northern York County Regional Police will close a portion of Carlisle Road in Dover Township on Sunday to reconstruct a fatal crash that occurred on the roadway on March 30.
The road, also known as Route 74, will be closed from Old Carlisle Road to Skytop Trail from 8 a.m. to noon.
Dover Township Fire Police will direct traffic, police said.
Motorists also are encouraged to use alternate routes, police said.
The crash: Karen Lee Jackson, 52, of Warrington Township, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Carlisle Road about 4:50 p.m. Sunday, March 30.
Northern York County Regional Police have said they believe the fatal crash was caused when a 16-year-old male driver of the 1997 Jeep Cherokee that Jackson was a passenger in lost control on the icy road.
The SUV then went into the northbound lane and crashed into a 2001 Dodge Durango at Blackberry Road, police said.
