Rain is expected to continue in York County through Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday morning will be party cloudy with a chance of drizzle; the afternoon will be partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, said Tony Mach, a meteorological technician with NWS. The high temperature will be in the 50s.
Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with 90 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms. The area also could get a few showers after midnight. The overnight temperature will be in the low 40s, Mach said.
There is no concern for flooding, he said.
Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 57, though windy, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Saturday's low will be around 30.
Sunday should be a bit nicer - sunny and breezy, with a high near 60 and a low of around 35.
There's a good chance rain will return again Monday, which will be cloudy with a high near 55 and a low of around 48.
