Police on Friday night arrested two people wanted in connection with a robbery and stabbing that occurred Thursday on the 2700 block of South Queen Street in York Township, according to a press release from the York Area Regional Police Department.

Police spotted Dariace Stone and Jessica Steininger in Red Lion Borough in the area of West Broadway and First Avenues at about 8 p.m. Friday. York Area Regional detectives arrested the pair, who have since been charged with robbery and related offenses.

The York Dispatch previously reported that police said two people, a man and a woman, followed a York Township man home from a Sheetz early Thursday morning. When the man reached his door, the pair confronted him and a scuffle ensued, the man told police, during which the male robber stabbed the victim in the back, police said.

The pair then took off with the man's money, police said.

The man was treated at York Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police told The Dispatch on Thursday.
