After getting kicked out of a Dillsburg pub and crashing into a parked car in the pub's parking lot last week, an alleged drunken driver found himself in even more trouble when responding officers spotted who — or rather, what — was riding shotgun in his car.

According to Carroll Township Police, marijuana and a pot pipe were sitting on the front seat of a vehicle being driven by Matthew E. Marsh on March 13.

Marsh, 38, of the first block of Cabin Hollow Road in Franklin Township, is free on $5,000 unsecured bail, charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said he was at Flapjacks Restaurant and Pub, 9 N. Route 15, when he was asked to leave the pub for being disorderly.

He got into his vehicle to leave, but struck a parked car in the lot, causing minor damage, police said.

Officers were then called to the scene, which is when they spotted the pot and pot pipe on his front seat, police said.
