The burglary of a Dillsburg-area store was solved by store employees who recognized the burglar in surveillance footage, according to police.
Jeffrey Morret, 59, of the first block of Albert Lane in Franklin Township, is free on $20,000 bail, charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass, according to Carroll Township Police Sgt. David Smith.
Morret stole about $260 in cash and merchandise from Schumaker's Grocerette, 601 N. Route 15 in Carroll Township, Smith said. The break-in was reported March 12.
Workers at Schumaker's know Morret and recognized him in the surveillance video, according to Smith.
Morret was arraigned on his charges on Friday, according to court records.
He could not be reached for comment. It is unclear if he has retained an attorney.
