Police have arrested a Dallastown man for allegedly burglarizing a Jackson Township home earlier this year, and say a second arrest is expected.
Shawn Davis, 32, of 160 North Pleasant Ave., is charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property, according to Northern York County Regional Police.
Police said they intend to arrest a second person for the Jan. 30 burglary as well, but charges have not yet been filed.
According to police, a homeowner in the 800 block of Lefever Road heard people walking around his first floor just before 1 p.m., then discovered a burglar rummaging through a dresser drawer in a bedroom, Lt. David Lash has said.
The homeowner yelled at the intruder, who called out to his accomplice, Lash said.
Both intruders ran past the homeowner and fled the home, taking off in a blue Cadillac, he said.
Lash said the burglars made off with some jewelry.
