A local man wanted in a Feb. 28 York City shooting has been arrested, police said Friday.

Joshua Ballard, 22, of York, was arrested Thursday by state police in Reading, Berks County. He was wanted in connection to the shooting of Khalil Devlin.

Ballard faces charges of aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy and firearm violations.

He is in Berks County Prison, awaiting extradition to York County, city police said.

Anthony Ray Gilbert,19, another man allegedly involved in Devlin's shooting, had been arrested Feb. 28. He was charged with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and firearms not to be carried without a license.

Devlin, 22, of South Pershing Ave., was shot in the buttocks at the intersection of West College and Lindberg avenues, police said. Gilbert fled the scene, but was found at a nearby tattoo parlor. A second man was seen running from the scene. Police allege that man is Ballard.
