York County temperatures take a day's hiatus Thursday from the recent warmth.

The high temperature will only reach 29 degrees, the National Weather Service says.

The sun will shine, the service says, but it won't bring much warmth, especially considering how windy the day will be; the service's wind advisory remains in effect through noon as gusts will reach around 43 miles per hour.

Temperatures will drop all the way down to 16 degrees on a still fairly windy Thursday night, but they'll bounce back up tomorrow - Friday's high is 53, according to the NWS, so this cold spell will hopefully be limited to one day.
