Update, 8:15 a.m.:
After Wednesday night's gusting winds caused some outages around York County, Met-Ed now reports 88 customers are without power, with about half of them living in Hopewell Township.
PPL reports three of its customers are without power, and PECO reports less than five customers in Peach Bottom Township are without power.
York and surrounding counties are under a wind advisory until noon on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Strong winds that could produce gusts of up to 50 mph could bring down tree limbs and cause power outages, the weather service says.
By Wednesday night, a number of outages have already been reported in York County.
As of 9:30 p.m., Met-Ed reported 399 of its customers in the county are without electrical service.
Affected areas include Hellam and Lower Windsor townships, where 86 and 80 customers, respectively, are without power, according to Met-Ed's website.
PECO is reporting less than five customers in Peach Bottom Township are without power.
PPL reports no outages.
