York County is poised to shatter a record. And it's one many residents likely wish were left intact.
The expected low for Monday is minus 5, more than 10 degrees lower than the record of 7 set in 2009, according to AccuWeather.
And it's not expected to feel all that much warmer on Tuesday, when the high is expected to be 26 with a nighttime low of 0, AccuWeather says.
The cold temperatures are about 20 to 30 degrees below the average usually seen in early March.
But come Wednesday, there will be a heat wave compared to the Arctic-like temperature seen of late. The high that day is expected to hit the 33-degree mark, AccuWeather says.
