10:30 a.m. update: The accident has been cleared and the ramp reopened, PennDOT says.

8:50 a.m. update:The northbound ramp to exit I-83 at Market Street remains closed because of an overturned tractor trailer, according to PennDOT spokesman Greg Penny.

The truck was carrying a shipment of cat litter and is now being unloaded, Penny said.

Penny said PennDOT does not have an estimate of when the ramp will be reopened.

Previously reported: A crash has closed a ramp on Interstate 83 Friday morning.

First responders were called to the crash in the northbound lanes of I-83 at the Market Street exit at 4:45 a.m., according to York County 911.

The crash was listed as an accident with entrapment, and PennDOT said a ramp is closed.
