After seeing some sun on Thursday, York is in for a stormy day on Friday.
Thursday will be partly sunny, with a slight chance of showers after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will be 44 and the low 36, and winds will be from the southeast at 5-7 mph.
Friday will have showers through the day and possibly a thunderstorm in the morning, the forecast said. The high will be 52 and the low 31. Storms could produce gusty winds up to 24 mph along with up to half an inch of rain, and the rain along with melting snow could flood some areas with poor drainage.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 54 and low of 33, and winds will be from the southwest at 9-15 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph, the NWS said.
Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high of 46 and low of 25, and Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 35 and low of 21, the forecast said.
There's a chance of rain and snow on Tuesday, with a high of 33 and low of 22, the service said.
