A 37-year-old man was found dead in his Hellam Township home Friday after a police incident, according to York County Coroner Pam Gay.
Gay said an autopsy will be conducted Monday and officials are not releasing a cause or manner of death at this time.
Gay's office was dispatched to the scene of the police incident in the 5500 block of East Market Street around 12:20 p.m., but officials have not disclosed the nature of the incident.
Both lanes in that block of East Market Street, Route 462, had been closed to traffic because of a police incident, according to an operator at York County 911. They were opened open after the incident ended.
