After nearly a week with no power, PECO says it expects to restore electricity to southern York County by the end of the day Tuesday.
Company spokesman Fred Maher said there are still about 200 customers who do not have power. That's down from more than 2,000 PECO customers at the height of the storm's damage.
In total, more than 65,000 Yorkers lost service after last Wednesday's storm, but Met-Ed and PPL have reported that all of their customers are back on the grid.
Maher said there are still downed lines because of damage from trees and branches, and the company is hoping to have every storm-related outage addressed and all power restored by the end of the day Tuesday, he said. However, restoration to some homes could be delayed if crews encounter further damage after they make the initial repairs, he said.
