There are 31 state roads that are still closed Thursday across York County for downed trees and debris, according to Mike Martin, York County maintenance manager with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

"Thursday morning it was more than 40 roads closed," he said. "We're getting things done as we can. We're still working at it to see how much we'll get through today."

Martin said there is no timeline set for opening the roads.

"We still have to wait until the utility companies to do what they need to do for the lines," he said. "Then we can get to the trees."
