The National Weather Service forecast indicates York County residents should get a two-day reprieve from snow and ice.
But don't expect much of the snow and ice on the ground to go anywhere.
The high temperatures for Thursday and Friday are expected to be 27 and 29, respectively, with low temperatures in the teens each night.
Saturday's forecast includes a 30 percent chance of snow in the day and a 40 percent chance in the evening.
The weather service isn't indicating possible snowfall amounts for York County over the weekend.
