The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of snow Sunday night into Monday and Tuesday night into Wednesday in the York County area.

The first storm is expected to produce light to moderate snowfall, with the possibility of 3 inches or more in areas south of the Pa. Turnpike.

The precipitation is expected to be a mix of rain and snow up until 2 a.m., then changing to all snow. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent on Sunday evening and 80 percent on Monday.

And the weather service warns that the storm is likely to impact the Monday morning commute.

The precipitation Tuesday evening is expected to begin as snow and sleet before 1 a.m., then change to freezing rain.

But the precipitation will turn to rain during the day on Wednesday, when the high is expected to reach 43 degrees.
