Carol Hill-Evans will resume her role as York City Council president in 2014.
Hill-Evans was unanimously elected to the position at the council's reorganization meeting Monday.
Henry Nixon was again chosen to serve as the council's vice president.
The council also set its 2014 meeting schedule. Meetings will continue to be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month starting with public comment at 6:30 p.m.
Exceptions include the summer months, when the council meets just once a month, and two months when the council will meet on a Wednesday instead.
The council will hold its committee meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Committee meetings will not be held in June, July or August.
