EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - York High graduate Will Beatty suffered a broken leg on Sunday in the New York Giants' season finale against Washington.
The injury happened in the third quarter of the Giants' 20-6 victory over Washington.
Beatty, an offensive tackle, is in his fifth year with the Giants. The 6-foot, 6-inch, 320-pounder was a second-round draft pick out of UConn, where he played for Susquehannock High School graduate Randy Edsall, who is the current head coach for the University of Maryland.
Beatty started every game for the Giants this season and has been a starter for the Giants for the last three seasons.
The Giants finished the season at 7-9.
