Police in Cumberland County are asking people to keep an eye out for vandals wielding a potato gun.

About 7:30 p.m. Thursday, someone used a spud gun to shoot out a large plate-glass window near the planetarium wing of Cedar Cliff High School, said Lower Allen Township Police.

After flying through the window, the offending tuber hit the back wall of a second-floor stairway, police said.

Police are looking for a dark-colored sedan, possibly an Audi or Volkswagen, with a sunroof. Police said they expect to send out surveillance photos of the vandals' car.

Anyone with information about the mischief is asked to call police at (717) 238-9676.
