No one was hurt Thursday night when a man fired a shotgun into a car that had two people inside it, police said.

York City Police said they have obtained an arrest warrant for Anthony Ray Johnson Jr., 19, of 308 S. Queen St. When caught, he will be charged with aggravated assault, propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle and two counts of reckless endangerment, according to Capt. Russell Tschopp.

Robert Hampton, 46, of York City, drove to a business parking lot in the 200 block of South Queen Street and picked up Edward Snyder IV, 28, of Spring Grove, about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, the captain said.

Johnson fired at the vehicle, damaging it, according to Tschopp.

An initial police report made no mention of a possible motive, he said.
