York Area Regional Police are asking for the public's help after two stormwater inlet grates were stolen in Windsor Township recently.
According to Jeremy Trout, township Public Works Director, a grate at the intersection of Zion Church and Grimm Hollow roads was reported stolen on Dec. 2. A day later, a grate was stolen about a 100 feet away at the intersection of Huson and Dull roads.
The 2-foot by 4-foot grates weigh about 60 pounds each, Trout said.
Police believe the grates were stolen to be sold for scrap.
