York will see a couple of gray days and some rain before getting to a nice fall weekend.
Wednesday will begin with fog in some areas and become mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers before 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will be 63 and the low 46.
Thursday will also be cloudy, with a chance of showers before 2 p.m., the forecast said. The high will be 68 and the low 60, and winds will begin the day from the southeast at 8-13 mph and become south at 11-15 mph in the evening, with gusts up to 25 mph to add an extra spooky air to trick-or-treat time.
Rain will begin late Thursday night and last through Friday, with thunderstorms possible before noon, the NWS said. The York area will get up to an inch of rain. Friday's high will be 69 and the low 47, and winds will be from the south at 16-20 mph, with gusts up to 39 mph.
Saturday will be partly sunny, with a high of 63 and low of 40, and Sunday and Monday will be mostly sunny, with highs of 54 and low of 35, the forecast said.
