Police in Lancaster County said they tracked down a man who allegedly groped a fast-food drive-through employee by following a trail of curly fries to his hotel room.
James Randolph Cowan Jr., 36, of Fitzgerald, Ga., remains free on unsecured bail, charged with indecent assault.
East Lampeter township Police said Cowan ordered food from the drive-through of Arby's at 2230 Lincoln Highway East about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, and groped a female employee as she leaned out the window to hand him his food. Employees told officers he appeared to be intoxicated, police said.
Cowan quickly drove away, but police tracked down his green Toyota 4Runner nearby at the Travel Lodge on the same road, police said.
Officers then followed "a trail of Arby's curly fries and sauce" from Cowan's SUV through the motel hallway and to his room, according to police.
