Motorists on Interstate 83 in southern York County will encounter work zones and a lane closure both Wednesday and Thursday as state Department Transportation crews conduct repair work.
Crews will make repairs to the right southbound lane between Exit 8, the Glen Rock exit, and Exit 4, the Shrewsbury exit, on Wednesday. On Thursday, crews will repair the right northbound lane between Exit 10, the Loganville exit, and Exit 14, the Leader Heights exit, according to a PennDOT news release.
The work will be done between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., the release says.
PennDOT advises motorists to slow down when approaching and traveling through work zones.
