A preliminary hearing for a man charged with homicide in connection with the June death of a Carroll Township woman has been scheduled for later this month.
Bryan Wayne "Big Country" Brackbill Jr., 33, will go before district judge Richard Thomas on Monday, July 29, to answer to charges of homicide, theft, unlawful restraint, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to court documents.
In the meantime, Brackbill remains in York County Prison without bail, a prison spokesman said.
He is charged in connection with the death of 52-year-old Sandra Mulder, whose decomposing body was found bound in her home in the 200 block of Chestnut Grove Road on June 2.
Brackbill fled the state but was arrested by police in Missouri on June 3 and was extradited to York County June 15.
