It's officially summer, and the warm, wet June weather looks to continue in York this week.

Today will be mostly cloudy and warm, with a high near 85, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Scattered storms and showers could continue through the evening, which will be mostly cloudy with a low of 68.

Tomorrow will continue the trend, the weather service said. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 89, and there's a 50 percent chance of showers and storms after noon. Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy with a low around 68 and a slight chance of showers.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and get up to 90 degrees, according to the weather service. Scattered showers and storms are possible, and that 40 percent chance will continue throughout the night, which will only dip down to 71 degrees.
