Officers called to a Fairview Township motel on Thursday ended up arresting six people who police said possessed some odd items.
All six of the people arrested are believed to be illegal immigrants and one also is a member of a Mexican gang, Fairview Township Police said.
During the arrests, officers found large amounts of counterfeit gold jewelry, new shoes and clothing with tags still on them, as well as toy guns that look real, police said.
Officers also found notebooks containing hand-drawn maps of department stores, including the roads that lead to and from those stores, police said.
One of the men, Miguel Angel, was arrested for possession of marijuana and taken to the county's central booking unit, according to police, who said he is believed to be the gang member.
The other five people were taken into custody by federal immigration agents, police said.
