York County was under an urban and small stream flood advisory for York, Adams, Lancaster and Lebanon counties, as well as for parts of Cumberland and Dauphin counties.
The advisory was in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday and has since expired, according to the National Weather Service.
Affected areas could experience minor flooding after heavy rain pushed through the area just after 4 p.m.
Rain water runoff could cause higher than normal levels at small creeks and "ponding" water on streets, highways, underpasses, low laying areas and areas with poor drainage, the weather service said.
