The York County Youth Development Center's Tea Light Lantern Float festival, scheduled for tomorrow, will be postponed until Saturday, May 5 due to forecasted rain.

The event will be held 6-8 p.m.at John Wright Restaurant, 234 N. Front St., Wrightsville.

Lanterns will be placed in the Susquehanna River to float downstream, and will be visible from the restaurant to symbolize inspiration and hope.

Pre-event lantern sales, which ended on Tuesday, have been reopened until Tuesday, May 1. A limited number of tea light lanterns will also be available for purchase during the day of the event.

Lanterns can be purchased via mail or in person through the Youth Development Center, 3564 Heindel Road in Springettsbury Township. The cost is $10. For more information or to purchase a lantern, visit www.ycydc.org or call 840-7570.
