The wife of Pennsylvania's budget secretary pleaded guilty Friday in York County Court to drunken driving.
Georgina Zogby, 48, of 607 Moores Mountain Road in Fairview Township, remains free pending her sentencing hearing, set for July 2, according to court records.
She pleaded guilty to first-offense DUI and driving drunk with a suspended license.
There is no sentencing agreement with prosecutors, defense attorney William Fulton said.
Fairview Township Police said that about 2:45 p.m. Sept. 28, officers found a BMW on its roof, blocking both lanes of Moores Mountain Road. She had been driving the BMW, police said.
Zogby's blood-alcohol level was 0.117 percent, according to charging documents. In Pennsylvania, an adult is driving drunk at 0.08 percent.
Theft cases: On April 19, Zogby pleaded guilty in Cumberland County Court to two counts of retail theft for stealing merchandise from T.J. Maxx and groceries from Wegmans.
Zogby has been getting treatment and has been sober for at least seven months, according to Fulton.
She is awaiting trial in Cumberland County on charges including DUI and fleeing or attempting to elude police.
State police said Zogby fled from officers about 1:15 a.m. July 10 in Monroe Township.
Trial in that case is currently set to begin Monday, but Fulton said it will be rescheduled.
Zogby is the wife of state budget secretary Charles Zogby.
