The annual Red Lion Halloween Parade begins at 7 p.m. Monday. The parade will travel from the high school at Horace Mann Avenue down South Main Street to the borough square and west on West Broadway to South Franklin Street and Fairmount Park. Information: (717) 244-3475 or redlionpa.org.

The 64th annual York Halloween Parade steps off at 2 p.m. Sunday on Market Street. The parade will march east on Market Street from Richland Avenue to Lehman Street, featuring bands, floats, dancers, classic cars and more. Family fun

Halloween in the Park returns to Codorus State Park with trick-or-treating, hayrides, food vendors and other kid-friendly fun from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Enter the park at the pool entrance off Route 216. Bring your flashlights. Admission: $10 per car donation. Comic Store West celebrates with an all-day Halloween ComicFest on Saturday at the shop, 2111 Industrial Highway, Springettsbury Township. Hanover High School presents "Dracula" as the fall play. The adaptation features the evil blood-sucker using his superhuman strength and special powers to fight Professor Van Helsing and his band of monster hunters. The York County Parks presents Ghost Walk from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31 on the York County Heritage Rail Trail starting from the Brillhart Station parking lot. Hersheypark in the Dark transforms the popular amusement park into a series of Halloween-themed adventures for all ages. Children 12 and under can trick-or-treat, the whole family can take a flashlight walk through ZooAmerica's Creatures of the Night, and the coasters and other rides and shows will have spooky themes.
