Work history: Dispatch reporter since 2005, with previous experience at the Flint (Mich) Journal, The State News in East Lansing, Mich. and the Daily Messenger in Canandaigua, NY.

Personal background: Graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. Married without children (at least not yet), and have a dog and a cat. Originally from Rochester, N.Y., and now live in North York. In spare time, I enjoy camping, sports and reading historical/political nonfiction.
